Fast Prepared, Big Flame Honey Mustard Chicken This honey mustard chicken is a fantastic half-week meal that is fast for whipping and knows amazing! Made with chicken breast or chicken thigh immersed in an exquisite honey mustard sauce, it is really easy to make and a great base to add your own touch. I love making the home version of chicken kettle sauces you can buy in jars, like the sauce. Homemade is a billion times more delicious! It was for an ad for a range of simmer sauces called "Chicken Tonight" sold in jars in supermarkets. They still sell them today. All from the honey mustard to Korma, the moss from the cream to Cacciatore. Never in my life have I bought one, nor have I tried it (that I know). I use a store to buy pasta, like and. But I always "freshen up." It makes a world of difference. But I've never used a shop bought from verter and hammer sauce. I don't mean to find myself as a food sonob (hey – I have possessed to secretly make the McDonald's way!), it's just that my mother brain washed me like a child. Blame it. (You can send it directly to your Japanese food blog, !). So my honey mustard chicken is made of zero. It could take seven more minutes to open a jar. But you know 7 million times better! 🙂The honey mustard sauce for the chicken is incredibly simple to make. The basic ingredients are (this will come as a surprise...) honey and mustard that are mixed with chicken broth and slightly thickened with flour or corn starch / corn plant. It tastes corny, sweet and creamy even if there is no cream in it. I can't find the need to add cream, it's rich enough as it is. And I also love the beautiful golden color of the diluted sauce if you add cream. In all honesty, as long as you have honey and mustard more some form of liquid stock, even bouillon cubes, you will be able to make a great honey mustard sauce that can be used not only for chicken, but also for other white meats including fish, turkey and pork. I added a touch of thyme because the sauce is so beautiful and creamy, I think it's nice to add a touch of freshness of a grass. I've added some suggestions in the recipe for other herbs that I think are going very well with this.
